Where to find this plug?

Need to replace a plug for my exciter wire for my alternator. It's a 1 wire alternator but it uses a 4 pin plug.

Any idea where I could find this plug at?

Re: Where to find this plug?

Have you tried your local GM dealer's parts dept???

PED = Packard Electric Division, part of Delphi who manufactures most if not all to the connectors used in our cars.

As noted, it is a 4 terminal connector, but it has 2 parts the male and the female connector. SFLP likely means Sealed Female ?? connector. Does it have a part number on it anywhere, such as 120xxxxx?

Re: Where to find this plug?

Look at www.rockauto.com

I looked at the 1989 5.7L engine parts and there are a few listings for this connector both under Voltage Regulator Connector and Alternator Control? Connector.

Cost is in the 10 - 17 dollar range plus shipping. I would think you would also be able to get an aftermarket connector at any other auto store. Most of the connectors of this type on rockauto, where I looked, are ACDelco parts, with a few aftermarket parts also listed.
