Buzzer with the lights

As the title says, Whenever I turn my lights on or even the gauge lights, the buzzer comes on and doesn't stop until I turn all the lights off. My car is a 91 z28 camaro. This happened after I rewired my gauges to my fuse box when the split for the last wire had went bad. Any ideas?

Re: Buzzer with the lights

The buzzer should only come on if you leave the lights on with the key off, or open the door with the key in the ignition, or to remind you to buckle your seat belt. Either you wired something wrong, or the car thinks one of those conditions is being met.

The easy solution would be to just unplug the warning buzzer. It's in the convenience center, about the size of a pack of unfiltered cigarettes with a speaker grill on the side. Sometimes they're white, blue, black, they just pull straight out.

It's where GM put the flashers, fuses for circuits that couldn't be added to the fuse block, the warning buzzer, etc... It's on the right of the steering column, under the drivers side of the dash.
