Replaced fuel pump, starts and runs but..

First of all thanks for any input. We've got a 92 camaro with a v6 in it. Fuel injected. So far started with the simple stuff. New oil, oil filter, all spark plugs, fuel pump, filter..were in the process of running it out of the old gas now. My question is that it is running but its not very smooth and when we try to drive it we give it a bunch of gas and its hardly moving. I think we got it up to 20 mph..Thats not very exciting after working on it for so long just to get it running...

So i'm kind of thinking its something with the firing order but not sure..i took off the manifold and tested all the injectors they are working..I did this by grounding them out and making sure they sprayed fuel..does anyone here have a diagram or schematic showing me the firing order and which spark plug wire goes to which point on the cap..The guy that we bought this from replaced the distributor cap and rotor not knowing that it was the fuel pump..So I think he may have messed that up somehow..Any help is appreciated thanks everyone..

Just because the injectors sprayed doesn't mean they are good. Did they all produce a cone-shaped spray? Did you run a resistance test on the coils to see if they had over 11.8 ohms resistance, each?

Firing order, with #1 being pass side front, is 1-6, in order. The wires can go anywhere on the cap. What you need to do is to make sure you get the wide mark on the damper pointed at 0* TDC on the timing tab, and then remove the cover to find out which wire the rotor tip is closest to. The wire will be either #1 or #4 if the order is even half right.
