SCHEMATIC help needed for Fuel Pump
I have a 1987 Camaro IROC Z with the L98 350 TPI motor. I am rewiring the wire harness to a relay i purcased. Can someone PLEASE if you know for certain tell me which wire is which. There are three from the Pump: A black wire, a pink wire, and a tan wire. I cannnot get the car running properly without knowing for sure and i am in a huge bind to get the car out of my driveway. All help is greatly appreciated...

Black = ground
Pink = gauge
Tan = pump
To verify just hook up ground and run a 'live' 12 volt jumper wire to the tan wire. You should hear the pump kick on until jumper wire is removed.

Thankyou so much for your help. You were exactly correct and I was able to put the pump to a Relay and switch...
