Well first off, the headlights have nothing to do with the ECU. They're just a simple bulb and electricity system. One light going out would not cause all of them to fail. It would be illegal to manufacture a car like that. The second thing that has me concerned is that you said when you "Press the button". The headlights are operated by a **** you pull out (Firebird owners correct me if I am wrong but I own a Camaro). The passenger side marker light could be as simple as a blown bulb, but I'll assume you've checked that already. If the fuses are all good, and you are positive the switch isn't bad, It's time to start tracing wires and make sure nothing got hacked.

As for the reverse lights always being on, There is a switch on the shifter that turns the reverse lights on and off. Check here first. Or it could also be that the same joker who hacked the headlights screwed up the reverse lights, too.

Re: need help with lights

you wont be able to find the harnesses/wiring new, so you'll have to trace out whats in the car now. luckily, there's one harness for all the front lighting and its comes from the driver side (C100, smaller driver-most half). I'd take a look at the diagrams here and begin testing for connectivity; these cars are getting older and you could have a broken wire, loose connection, or any number of things. If all the wiring tests out good, you may have a bad switch in the dash

Hi moogs, here i found this headlight harness for your 84 camaro. I am pretty sure it is the one you need. Maybe one of the pros here can comment,

Re: need help with lights

hmm, I have bought off the guy in the past, not sure whats up there... well good luck to you moogs. Google is an amazing tool and there is no part you cannot find using it. Try googling camaro berlinetta wiper pod and if that doesn't work try another variation of it, alot of times you will find killer deals this way too.
