high beam h4 conversion need help
high beam h4 conversion need help
I went to switch the sealed beams to the h4 unsealed beams. I noticed that the high beam connector is a 2 prong. The bulbs that I have are a 3 prong. Is there an adapter? I am lost. Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: high beam h4 conversion need help
Find an H7 bulb and you should be fine. H4 is a HI/LO beam bulb and has 2 filaments and 3 connectors (one for each filament and ground), H7 is a single filament bulb with 2 connectors. Use the H4 bulbs for the outer headlight pair and H7 for the inner pair.

If you haven't done so already, you'll want to upgrade your headlight wiring harness to handle the extra current. There's a nice kit in the following link that sets you up for a pair of H4 lights and a pair of H1 (instead of H7).
Use the kit # HL28202 (straight ground)
