ok i have a 1988 gta 350 5.7 bored 30 over now i bought it like so and have been repairing little things here and their lately like the fulepump (OMG thats so much bs) fule filter ,fule pressure regulators , air filter, oil , hada put 4 qurts of trains fluid to get it to go in a gear got it allmost where i wanted it to be sounding and left window down one night and flooded it next day i hear door locks going on and off well i crawled through trunk caus keys in car and opend doors and let it dry and it stoped doing that well i have had a problem with it to begin with getting no power from batterie at ALL no interior lights no dash no fule pump no responce when turn key over no windows up nothing and my mechenic friend took dash off and tweaked this switch or something that was attached to stearing collum and got it all to work fine but now since the other sunday im having the same problem im expecting the same caus but needa know what he done to reset it , also while im here when it cranks and runs i start off runs great get a 1/2 mile or less it starts choking and bogging down like its not getting gas now i did find a problem with not putting the sock on fulepump and it clogin little filter on pump u[ took it out ran it a little started again and put sock on ran allright for a littlewhile but around my road it died and hada get a pull home battire and i now have 2 compleatly shot battires from this thing that wont hold a charge *(-btw when i try to get power battery charger is on terminals and no spark from clamps or power inside when connecting to just the terminals off the battery eather -) but sometimes it pops when reved while in dieing im positive i dont have all the vaccume lines hooked properly needa know a good hose diagram or some photos of it prefferably any ideas let me know and i was thinking on taking smog off but unshur of if i could take a pully& bracket off a s10 and use to replace the smog pump so i wouldnt have too switch to a new belt any advice on it would be great and help on cheaply converting mine manual from auto thanks everyone for your help thank god for this site as well!!!!!

 

1) Punctuation! It greatly helps. Trying to read that 800 word sentence makes me get a headache and I stop reading. Obviously everyone else did to.

2) Can we fix one issue at a time? Post worst problem in the right section, using punctuation, and we'll work with it, then move on.
