Gauges brighten up when i press the brakes?

Car: 1986 Iroc-Z
Engine: 355
Transmission: 700R4
Gauges brighten up when i press the brakes?
This started happening to me about a day ago and im not sure what caused it.
Anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening?
I suspect it might have to do with how my radio is grounded but im not sure, is there any specific wires that i should look at?

I have the opposite problem, mine dim when I brake.
