Temp Guage Works...Kind of
My temp guage goes up and down while running fine, but if I were to let the car sit in the cold over night it never zeros. The gauge reads just above the first line past zero. It pegs to hot when I start it, but I'm not sure it is giving me the right readings since it was already ahead of the curve. I upgraded the radiator to a 2 row aluminum and now it seems to sit 1/8" or so above 220. The factory radiator barely crept above 220 if ever. Any help would be appreciated.

Sender Bender
You might need a new sender.
Here’s how to find out:
With the engine OFF, key OFF, and the engine cold, remove the wire going to the sender.
Connect an ohmmeter from the sender to ground.
What reading do you get?
