where is the fuse to the fuel pump

originally car was an 88 firebird formula 305, now has a 350.

ive been searching for days and have come up with nothing.

I need either a wiring diagram of the fuelpump or someone to tell me where the fuse is.

Re: where is the fuse to the fuel pump

there should be a fuse all by itself near the battery. should be 2 wires going into a small fuse holder with a cover. thats how it is stock, dunno how its wired up since someone put in the 350....

Re: where is the fuse to the fuel pump

To help you out, it is located on passenger side inner fender. Near the front and about 10-12 inches from the headlight. Most people will tell you "By the battery". Well not all 3rd gens have their battery on that side. I have a V6 and my battery is on the drivers side, so I spent an hour looking for it. Not there. It is on the passenger side would be a better way to describe it. And it is in a small black holder that the fuse is snapped into.

Hope this helps.
