Heater settings....

Im only posting this because i have had no luck on finding info on the search....My heater only turns on when its on high... this just started happening the other day... its either off on on high.... any ideas what the problem is???? Like i said the heater only works on the high position.....mabey the switch is bad????

more then likley the resitor went bad in the heater box. but it could be the switch as well

I recently removed my messued up air cond. system... would that cause this prob??? Ill look at the heater box and check the ohm on the resistors then the switch....

High speed = relay
Low speed = resistors

It's most likely the resisitor. It mounts on the side of the AC box with 2 small hex bolts and when removed looks like a couple springs underneath. Replace that and you should be good. Take it out and check if any of the springs are broken or burned.
