Just put back in a stock radio/cassette player in my GTA as it had an aftermarket in it when I bought it. Everything works fine, even the radio control buttons in the steering wheel center, (in which was my purpose of going back to stock radio), but the control buttons don't illuminate. None of them do. Should they ? And if so, then it looks like I need to replace the whole center section. On the back side GM has a label that states "do not remove" control module. Wondering if anyone has messed with swaping the control module and have any pointers they can share with me.
