Mystery Connectors?

bought an 89 formula recently that has had a 350 tbi swap. while trying to figure out why the a/c wasnt working, i found 2 connectors zip-tied out of the way. one green one white. both have a pink/black and black wire going to it. i cant find anything in my haynes manual, does anyone have any idea what these are?

also (random) will the a/c compressor turn on if theres no freon? thanks

Re: Mystery Connectors?

The loose connectors are likely for the removed A.I.R. diverter valve.

The compressor will not engage without a charge.
