steering column help
I changed out my key cylinder in my steering column several years ago. I reassembled the column and forgot about this piece. I was recently cleaning and I found the piece. It is a spring steel piece, that is in the shape of a V. It is 3/16 inch wide by 1 long. I believe it is piece 17 from the second post on this link https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...m-diagram.html I can not figure out where this piece goes, even though I have the column apart at this time. Anybody have any ideas?

Re: steering column help
Sounds like the part that fits in close somewhere to the key switch that operates the buzzer when key is still in and you open the door

Re: steering column help
It is not the piece that operates that buzzer. The one is accounted for. The width is similar, but it does not have that wrap around piece at the end.
