What connects to these connectors? Diagram?
After 10 years I am trying to put AC back in my car and I dont think I have this harness anymore and I am confused on what goes where and so forth.
Re: What connects to these connectors? Diagram?
Yup, those are for HVAC
Find a replacement on an 87-89 car. 90-92 cars also work if you splice the red 12v wire on. Early harnesses have it external for some reason, while 90-92s are incorporated into the 4 pin connector. The part pictured is the mini-harness, you need the engine harness connectors to splice on
The 4 wires are pretty simple. Red is 12v for the blower fan, blk is grd for the fan and hi speed relay. Lt blu is 12v signal for AC request to the PCM. Dk grn/wht is the original coolant fan override switch. It went to the thermal switch for the 3rd gen engine. Your LSx PCM will not need this wire because it automatically turns the high speed fan on when the AC is engaged, partly because of the request wire listed above
