Brand new stereo/deck to hot to touch?

Transmission: 700 R4
Brand new stereo/deck to hot to touch?
Alright so I had recently bought a new deck its a pioneer deck and I wired it all up. But today I had realized my deck gets very very hot and sometimes I cant even touch it. It wasnt even on for very long. What could be the cause of this?
