Only have brights.....

Headlight motors work fine. Ignorable problem for a year: turn parking lights on/ambers on but the ugly eyes up. No headlights on till turned on manually. I can live with that crap, but now someone pulled out in front of me. Flashed my brights now that is all I have. NO LOW BEAM .

Re: Only have brights.....

When you pull back an the lever it pushes a rod going down the column into the high/low switch. The switch is held in place with two bolts that loosen after time and allow what you are now getting. Get under there, loosen the nuts slightly and slide the switch forward to take up the slack and tighten . Do this with the tilt wheel in the position you normally drive with. You have to remove the under wheel panel(s) usually and may find it easier to drop the column a tad. Have fun!

Haven't jumped on it just yet..... Been driving to work in the A.M. with the brights on. Not one person has signaled/flashed me to turn them off. I actually can see now.
