Hello everyone, I need a little help on getting my TPI swap ready to install. I have a 1988 Firebird that was originally a v6. The previous harness was chewed to death so I threw it out.

I have a 1988 Firebird TPI Dash/Inside harness and a 1988 Camaro TPI engine harness. From what I have read the c100 and c207 connectors are the same from camaro to firebird and 87-88 are the same also. Is this correct? According to the pinout I have, the wire colors do not match the diagram or the other side of the connector.

I already have those, the inside harness I have doesn't match the color coding. For the 207 that is.

 

then the inside harness you have isnt a 86-88 harness. check through the wiring diagrams on austin 3rd gen and find one that matches and go from there.

Well I think I got this all sorted out, turns out I have a v6 interior harness in some sort of shipping mixup.. got that all resolved and now I'm good to go. I'm sure I could have made it work, but they sorted it out with no effort of my part. Thanks for the help.
My summer's insurance expires in November so I plan to take it all apart and get the tpi running. Finally get all my gauges working too I hope.

Oh and 1987 c100's are not the same as 1988. Those are here http://berlinetta.info/C100.htm. I am still not sure if the engine harnesses are the same between Camaro and Firebird..
