Seat Belt Light!!!
Hey Folks, Here again. I have a 87 Trans Am with a 305 TPI. Most of the time while I'm driving down the road, if I go over some good bumps, or say, railroad tracks, the seat belt light will pop on in the dash for a few seconds, sometimes you'll hear the warning "dings", sometimes not. Anyone have any ideas? I only see the light come on when I'm going over major bumps. Thanks. TGO Rocks, BTW.

Re: Seat Belt Light!!!
under the dash on the dr side there is another fuse/relay/noise box panel above your right leg.
get to that and make sure nothing is loose of wires are chaffed.
could be something to do with the wires 4 your belts under the carpet or the belts themselves.

Re: Seat Belt Light!!!
IIRC the seat belt light is triggered off theretractor part of the belt, not the bottom buckle part. if you pull the belt out far enough it trips the light, you dont need to buckle it in to trip the light. could be a loose connection there, or when you hit a bump, the belt retracts enough to trip the sensor.
