Stock Keyless entry Fob Question
My car came with a key fob with two buttoms. It looks like it has some age on it and is made in USA so Im assuming it is original.
The battery in the fob is new, and nothing happens when the buttom is pressed. Where should I start digging into to find the reciever in the car. Id like to get it fixed this weekend.
The car is a 1991 305 Z28

Re: Stock Keyless entry Fob Question
not 100 percent sure but I think stock key-less entry began for Camaro in 1994?
Is it possibly an aftermarket alarm/entry? If so look under dash close to steering column is where they normally put the control box.
Does it have a GM part number on it?
I would think a GM remote would have three buttons lock, unlock, trunk
