84 camaro problem with map sensor
i have a 84 camaro 305 5speed z28. i am having trouble with a code 32 on a carbed setup. i have replaced all sensors and rebuilt the carb with all new sensors and connectors. it has two map sensors on it one on the drivers side on the firewall and one on the cowl. according to all info i can find the one on the drivers side is the only one it should have however when i unplug it no codes are set. but when i unplug the cowl unit it sets a code 32. i do have the necessary 5 volts to the unit on the cowl but not to the one on the drivers side. i have also replaced the computer and still the same results. the wiring harness is factory and i have not discovered any splices in it. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 84 camaro problem with map sensor
Take a look at this diagram, reference the wire colors, and let us know exactly which two units you're talking about. The 1984's didn't have a MAP sensor, but it did have a Barometric sensor, a Vacuum sensor, and a Manifold Vacuum Switch.
I'm not sure of the locations by the drawings, so the wire colors are an easier way to pinpoint.
