Didn't find exactly what I was looking for in a search, hopefully someone has ran into this before.

Car was an A/C car, I took everything related to A/C out. I now have a non A/C Heater Box, blower motor, and heater only fan speed controls. However, my wiring harness is still the original from the A/C car. The problem I'm having is with the blower motor resistor, it doesn't seem to like the fact that its got four wires but the non A/C cars only need three. I've got "off" and "high" fan speeds since high bypasses the resistor, but nothing in between. On low I've got 12v on the tan wire, and on medium I've got 12v on the light blue wire at the resistor. The wiring for an a/c car is supposed to have 12v at the yellow wire on low, 12v on the Tan wire on M1, and 12v on lt. blue on m2.

Is it possible to use the AC car blower resistor if I'd re-pin the plug? Or do I have to use the non-AC car resistor and wire it appropriately? I'd just rewire it for the non-AC plug right away, except I don't have the female plug end to match up to it..
