Camaro blinker/dash light issue

Hey guys, I just got a camaro, and the right side blinkers work perfectly, but the whole time my headlights are on, the left blinker light on the dash stays on, but when I try to turn on the left blinkers, it stays that way and the only one that works is the marker. Any info on this?

Re: Camaro blinker/dash light issue

Check your bulbs 1st then check turn signal "Flasher" relay.. one of those likely

Re: Camaro blinker/dash light issue

Welcome to the club, Jeremy.
Based on the information you provided, I suspect your left front park lamp / turn signal. If it has a bad ground or the bulb is gone, it will manifest itself by lighting up the turn signal indicator on the dash.

Do not bother with any relays since our vehicles do not use relays in the turn signal circuit.
And the flasher seems ok because it works fine for the right side blinkers.

Let us know what you find.
Lou

Re: Camaro blinker/dash light issue

Welcome, and my vote is for the bad ground. Have had that issue before.

Re: Camaro blinker/dash light issue

If anyone was wondering, it was just a bad ground (as stated, love you guys) in the front left blnker. It had rusted and broke the little metal piece in the socket. I fixed it and every single light works great now. These cars must be sensitive
