Mystery cable found in engine bay?

Transmission: t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.45
Mystery cable found in engine bay?
I was in the middle of my dash swap when I came across this in my engine bay, it has wires cut and a fuse socket. Anyone have any idea what it's for?

I think you could be right. When I was pulling out the wiring harness in my dash I found a Viper model 700 car alarm that had been installed in 1990 by a dealership
