Fuel Pump, AC Delco or other?
I'm about to replace the fuel pump in my 89 Iroc. Has any one had good or bad luck with the AC Delco pump from auto zone? Buying soon so any info would be appreciated.

I buy this one for my under 400 HP third gens...

I have one in my 88 V6 Firebird, my mom's 89 TBI Firebird, and my 88 TPI IROC. The original application is for a Vortec 350 in a GMC truck from around 1998 or so. Its a different style pump internally than the original TPI pump, but the TPI engine loves it, and so do the others. Lots of flow. They are just a tad noisier than the original pump but that doesn't bother me. I can only really tell the difference when I first hit the key and it primes up.
It fits in there just like the factory pump, no mods whatsoever. I have bought two of the three I have from the very guy in Miami who has the above listing. So far so good!
Good luck.

Used Delco EP241 for stockish LB9 recently - no complaints. Fits good, sounds good, works good.

When had the fuel pump done in my TA I went with a Delco pump, so far so good. Stay away from the cheap pumps.

Walbro pump in my z. No complaints. You can hear it prime, and has awesome pressure. Most of te people that have issues with one thing or another is improper install. They dont change the sock or filter, tank should be cleaned etc.

Re: Fuel Pump, AC Delco or other?
That EBAY one from Miami is cheap! Is it a stock replacement or does it flow more? Must flow more than my 305TPI original pump if it's for a 350 vortec truck engine?
