lights monitor

ok im having a hard time trying to find the location of my lights monitoring module. not the headlight module that located next to brake booster, im talking about the module that monitors the headlights, park lights, turn signals, and brake lights to look for broken filaments. i think it was only on the digital dash cars, as if it detects a broken filament it sends a message to the DIC to let driver know a lamp is out. i found the general location under driver side hush panel at base of steering column, but i dont know what the module looks like. under my dash is a jungle of black boxes and wires. if someone has a digital dash car could you shoot a picture of this module or describe it so i can identify it to test the green wire for short?
