What are these wires/connectors for?
I just finished swapping over my 88 digital dash harness and noticed these last two connectors. One is on the drivers side and the other is on the passenger side. One connector has a dark and light green wire (2 wires) and the other has a grey and brown.
Passenger side:

drivers side: (this one is a lot shorter than the passenger side one and won't dangle out of the dash

The one with the dark green and green wires is for the right front speaker.
Not sure about the other one, I can't really tell where it is located.

Thanks for the reply! How does it connect in to the speaker with the plastic clip? shouldn't the there be no clip and just two bar wires that wrap around the prongs on the speaker? and the other clip is basically in line with the driver speaker but not long enough to make it out that far, it's behind the dash

Here's the diagram so you can see. It should be the same or very similar to yours. Just in case...

Ah okay thanks! there's one other strange thing I noticed now that I know I'm looking at the audio wiring. I can't find the rear speaker wires anywhere, I know there's supposed to be a long blue and light blue wire going to the rear and a long yellow and brown going to the rear as well but even looking at the power connector that plugs into the stereo harness there's no rear speaker wires, only the front left and right (light green/dark green , brown/grey) here's a picture of what I mean

Re: What are these wires/connectors for?
How far can you trace those wires from the connector itself? I'm guessing not very far. I don't know how those are run through the car. When I bought my camaro, it had the Delco Bose Sub in the back, and instead of wiring that in to a different head unit, the previous owner cannibalized the sail panel speaker wires and put 6x6's where the sub is
. My only guess is that they were run behind the driver side of the dash, down the side, under the door sill panel, and into the back that way; but the driver side rear speaker wiring could be run that way, and the passenger side speaker run in the same manner on the other side. Try looking under the dash on the far left side in front of the door (rocker panel?).

Re: What are these wires/connectors for?
I still couldn't find them, this is a picture from my 89 analog harness of the power stereo connector and you can see the blue/light blue, brown and yellow wires going into it but not my digital harness

Edit: just by comparing the two it looks like all I need for the digital harness is that blue clip as it looks like it separates from the rest of the plug
Edit 2: I was right! it comes off and can just be transferred onto the digital dash harness. I'm relieved and feel slightly stupid for not noticing that earlier
