Car: 1988 Camaro A4U vintage race car
unidentified sensor help

Looking for someone to help identify this sensor. I noticed it while swapping my starter motor...its on passenger side just below exhaust manifold, closer to rear of motor. See red arrow. It looks like its been melted pretty good so might need to replace once I find out what it is.

Forgot to mention its an 88 iroc TPI 305.
