Wire Mire

Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) probe the GAGES fuse.

Is there power on both sides?

If yes, probe the
pink wire with a black stripe at the connector at the back of the cluster.

There are 2 connectors, it’s probably the connector on the left, as viewed from the rear.

If there’s power there make sure the connector pins are clean and making good contact.

To probe, is to connect the voltmeter or test light from ground (usually black wires from the area under test, or some metal piece of the car) ) to the wire(s) or device you have been instructed to test.

You can practice with the voltmeter or test light on the car battery so you can see what ‘power’ looks like.

Then when you’re ready you can probe the GAGES fuse and report.
