anyone know where to find a wiring schematic from the C100 plug on the inside to everything it connects to on the inside of the car? Key off, im getting 12 volts at the A4 and G5 wires and i have no idea why, or how?

Here's the C100 Diagram for an 89 Camaro:



A4 and G5 are power distribution wires and run directly off the starter. I don't have a schematic for the 88, but that's what the schematic I've got for the 85 IROC shows....

 

Thanks for the diagrams!! Where did you find the power distribution diagram?? I want to try to find one for a 89. I know that A4 went to the "1 wire" alternator plug because its still the, and it has 12 volts with key on or off, as well as G5?!

 

Your getting power to those circuits because they are connected to the battery post of the starter.

 

the pic attached is the alt plug that was on car, and it goes to A4, so 12 volts was going to the alt originally?
