We have this 86 Z-28, is currently running a carb. I have a TPI setup that came with the 86. The engine wiring is gone, unplugged in the cab. We are considering putting the TPI back on, which means we will have to get a new wiring harness for the engine compartment. Is there a "how-to" anywhere that I could use to go by, as far as sensors, wiring said sensors, where all the wires goes, etc. I will need to buy a computer and wiring. What would the group recommend for me to buy. We have a friend that's building a '90 model 4L60 tranny for the car. We are thinking of running a 2800-3000 stall convertor. Motor is yet to be built and I would love some input on what to build. We were going to put the 9:1 355 back in it but I was thinking of building a higher compression motor.

If you get factory harness for the car everything is PnP.Originally Posted by crewguy

These guides are for TPI into non originally EFI cars but give a good overview of what is needed such as fuel pump / sensors / etc
