need help with light switch wiring.
need help with light switch wiring.
I have a 89 camaro rs with a 383 stroker, and I have no electric hooked up besides the fuel pump, fan, water pump and push button start. I really need some lights Lol. I need to know what color wires run to the light switch.

Light Bright
Connect the 12 gage red wire which comes from the Fusible Link, to one side of the Headlight contacts (terminal #1 or A).
Connect the yellow wire that comes from the HI—LOW switch in the steering column to the other side of the Headlight contacts (terminal #5 or F).
For the Marker Lights connect the brown wire that goes to those, to the so-called parking light contact on the Headlight switch (terminal #4 or E).
For the Instrument Lights connect the green wire that goes to those, to (terminal #2 or C).
For ground connect the black wireto (terminal X).
Connect the orange wire from the TAIL fuse to terminal F.
Connect the White wire from the Dome and other cabin illumination to terminal B.
The terminal numbers mentioned are from of a couple of my parts in my parts cabinet.
Hopefully yours match, but if not you can use an ohmmeter to see what contacts go to what position in the switch.
