Power Antenna Raising When Radio Not On
My TA's power antenna raises every time I turn the key in the ignition even if the stock stereo power is off. It then lowers when the key is turned off so its working - just not when its supposed to.
What would cause this? And can it be fixed or do I just get a new power antenna?
I hate the ugly thing being up at all. It kills the look of the car. What are my options to replace it with a less ugly one and still be able to receive radio signal?

sounds like a wire is crossed somewhere.
You can always pull it (save it) and install a short antennae in the stock location or run one of those that sticks onto the windshield like newer cars have.
