New brake calipers still locking up!

Hey guys, just put both new front calipers on my 89 Firebird Formula as the driver side was pulling and the passenger was "locking up". Even after I replaced these, it is still continuing to do this as if I replaced nothing any ideas on what could be causing this? Passenger side only locks up temporarily, and then releases after a while, and the driver side is still pulling like hell. Maybe lines are shot? any input is appreciated. Thanks
-Eric

Yep. Very common problem.

BTW, welcome to TGO. You would probably do well to post in the brake forum.

Re: New brake calipers still locking up!

I had my passenger front pull hard on me after braking a year ago. It never released. When the rubber brake hose deteriorates and collapses inside fluid passes through to the caliper but isn't able to go back to release the caliper. It's acting like a 1 way check valve. I found that oreillys had good prices on brake lines. I recommend you replace all of your rubber lines at this point to avoid future problems!
