Changing the fuel pump, mismatched my wires and not sure which is power and which is the guage. Pink and i think brown or red with white stripe id have to check. But one wire works for power but the gauge wont work. Switch them around and the gauge wont stick and will come down but power wont turn the pump on. Its really annoying. I didnt have my camaro for my highschool grad because of this reason. So im very frustrated. Has this happend to anyone? Can anyone help me figure this out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im running a 3.1 swapped 86. Was running fine before.

I believe Pink is fuel gauge, Tan and white is normally fuel pump motor with black being ground
