Intermittent Electrical Gremlins

The car is a 92 RS with 305 TBI, Automatic. Intermittently when first starting I get no electrical power to AC, Dash Fan, Power Windows, Coolant Fan, and Alternator won't charge. Sometimes shutting off the car and restarting fixes the issue and then everything works as it should. Sometimes it will be working fine and while driving it will shut down these items. Is there a relay or something that would have these issues in common?

Any guidance appreciated!

Sounds like a bad ignition switch to me. When this happens again, try just turning the ignition on and off a few times to see if it corrects itself. The will take engine vibrating and getting a loose connection to contact out of the equation. Post back your results and we will go from there.

Re: Intermittent Electrical Gremlins

Just started it and had no power to the listed accessories. Turned off and on and everything worked. Turned off and back on and the listed items didn't work. I could only get it to repeat itself the one time after trying another dozen or so times. When it wasn't working I got under the dash and jiggled every wire I could reach with no changes. Jiggled all wires again while it was working and it had no effect. Thanks for the help!

Ignition switch is bad. It's not the wires, but the sliding contact in the switch.
