NEED HELP!

I just bought a 1985 iroc z. I put in a new starter and hooked it all up to the wiring. When I go to turn the key the starter makes a clicking sound and the gauges move a bit. I have power to everything in the engine bay because I checked it. The only thing I can think of is a wiring problem. Please help!

Re: NEED HELP!

Usually occurs when your battery has been discharged. If your battery in fully charged, then it may be low power getting to your starter or a short. Finally, new components are sometimes faulty, could be a bad starter. Check battery first. Good luck.
