Re: headlight flicker

Could it be a bad ground?

Re: headlight flicker

IIRC, the grounds are up by the passenger headlights.

Re: headlight flicker

Is it both high and low beam?
If one OR the other check the plug under the steering column where it plugs into the dip switch. Mine used to switch on and off and flicker at random and after hours of searching I found one of the retainers broken off the plug allowing it to move in and out of contact. I cable tied it tight into the switch and good ever since.
You'll need to remove the under dash fascia to get at it.

Re: headlight flicker

Well I got up to the beach and the the dimmer switch is had because the high beams wont click on. Then I ran a jumper from the hot to the low beam wire and taped it up and ran it home so the lights would work, but that plug snd wires got super hot...and the tan wire looks like she got a little hot before. The plugs looked both like they got hot on dimmer and headlight switch. Is it shorting out somehwere maybe??

Re: headlight flicker

The driver side low beam headlights plug is melted. The tan green wires are both charred and the plug is melted. All other 3 are fine...
