just bought a 90 IROC. All the lights work except the headlights..... What gives? Don't know if it's related somehow but the stereo doesn't work either. Could it be the switch If everything else coming from it is working? Also I'm not getting voltage to the lights so I don't think it's the bulbs.

 

Just shot the wires coming from the switch. They are good

 

So if you have power on the yellow wire coming out of the switch, check the tan and light green wires coming out of the dimmer. Tan is low beam, green is high. If that checks out, run a long wire to the tan and green wires at the headlights and check for continuity on the dimmer wires of the same colors.

 

Thanks. I figured it out. Combo between being a third gen newby, my dimmer switch not working properly and both low beam bulbs out..... Smh

 

I think I have some electrical issues though. The "INFL REST" light stays on constant and the radio doesn't work. Plus both low beams out at the same time....? I asked the lady I bought it from... She seems honest and was up front about everything. Anyway she said the headlights worked fine last time she drove it.
