gauge swap

gauge swap

i am wondering if it is possible to swap in the 90-92 style gauges into my 89? and if so what exactly is needed? and how is it dont. i tried searching but only found info on 4th gen swaps.

The cluster housings (and dash structure) are shaped differently, so no I don't think they will fit.

You do not want the 90-92 cluster, the tach is known for almost always being dead.

Aside from cluster shape and the issue inherent in that, the 89 speedo head is cable driven, the 90+ electric.
