instrument panel bulb sockets woes
Hi all,
I removed my instrument panel to replace empty bulb sockets that I guess the previous owner removed. Before I replaced the bulbs, I grounded the socket to make sure they worked, and they did (with the key on). At the time the "shift" light also was working(manual trans). When I placed back the IP, the bulbs do not come on including the "shift". I grounded the socket, and they are getting current. I tried different bulbs and do not come on. The only light that do not work on the panel are the choke, service engine soon, and the shift. All other work.
Any suggestions will be appreciated!
