Antenna not working after having liners out

I had the fender liners out of my trans am back when I was working on it getting it ready for paint and drove it a couple hundred miles like that (never in the rain). In that time the power antenna quite working. I checked all the fuses under the dash and none of them are blown. I read that there is some kind of relay under the passenger dash, would it be worth a try to replace that? Otherwise where do I go from here?

Thanks

Re: Antenna not working after having liners out

Could have had a loose connection secondary to wind in the fender. You could unplug the lead from the motor and jump it to see if the motor runs before removing from the fender. A lot of these old antenna motors have been replaced before and sometimes the individuals just make crappy connections within the fender. If you really get into a bind and need to replace it, have a lead on another new antenna/motor/assembly for less than $100 which is better than having to remove the assembly three or four times.
