90 Camaro RS - Speedometer and Odometer stop intermittently
I had the car out this morning for a cruise, and about 2 miles from home the speedometer dropped to 0 and the odometer quit rolling. For the remaining 2 miles home, they seemed to both start and stop working together, several times. The rest of the gauges work fine.
Is this a VSS in need of replacement, or something worse in the dash/gauge cluster? I don't want to drive the car with the odometer not working correctly. Currently has 154k miles on it.

Think of it as a way to keep it from racking up even more miles..
No clue as for reason, except for maybe checking all the connections first.

Doing more research, seems a code 24 is the code for a bad VSS, but a lot of conditions need to be met to throw a code 24.
I just jumped the ALDL with a paperclip to read codes and there are no codes.
Haven't driven the car in two months.
