Mass Air Flow (MAF) Diagnosis Question

Hi All,

Hopefully someone out there that can address my question......

If I have a 1988 MAF out of the car, is it possible to check it with a meter of some sort to know if it's good or bad? I have one I would like to sell, I think it works properly, but really want to check it before selling it.

Thanks!

No , there is no way without having a running car to check the MAF . You'd need not only a way to measure the readings it gives per amount of calibrated airflow , and of course you'd need a source of calibrated air to put through it to measure .
