I have a 3.14 amp drain killing my battery. Pulled every fuse in the panel by the OBD port. No fuse panel behind the kick panel like some mention. Trunk light not stuck on (removed bulb too), under hood light not stuck on (also removed bulb). Pulled the cigarette lighter out...Still there

I have no idea where to go from here.

3.14 amps pretty substantial drain...That is about what the alternator would draw if the field was staying on with engine not running-could check that out.

Just found that suggestion on google and checked it, came back here to report and saw your reply. That's exactly what it is. I disconnect the alternator and it reads .010. Guess its got a bad alternator.

Also in checking it the alternator is a little warm and the car hasn't run since yesterday. Had a battery charger on it for an hour today and I guess its still warm from that.

A defective diode trio inside the alternator will draw power. It allows battery power to pass through the diode and into the windings draining the battery pretty quick.
