Ok I am working on this car have almost all the wiring done figure now may be as good a time as any to relocate the battery. I understand the relocation a question i have. Has any one ever pulled wiring from newer cars that have trunk mount batteries and use that for there wiring? I only ask cause the pull a part around here lists battery cables for 5 bucks and dose not specify length. I know its hard to tell a gauge of a wire unless you strip it and measure the wire and that's not exact either. Just an idea that came to my head as I was piecing this car back together.

 

could be worth it if you grabbed all the wiring for the battery, positive and negative leads and the wires' terminals. If the donor car is a four door and has the battery in the trunk it could be worth your while to pull it but if the battery is mounted under a rear seat or it's a two door with the battery in the trunk it might be a waste. Length might be too short.
You may like the results better if you do it yourself and if you choose to go that route look into NHRA wiring schematics for trunk relocated batteries and look over this ce electric website for ideas or if you just want to buy one of their kits (https://ceautoelectricsupply.com/bat...location-kits/)
