I have a few electrical gremlins which I'm hoping you guys can help with.


First of all is that the tachometer bounces around when the car is in idle or is at a stand still in traffic. Once I step on the gas it's fine and reads correctly.


Whilst the tach is bouncing around, the voltage gauge is flickering ever so slightly, as is the passenger headlight.
EDIT: This has now moved to nearly all the lights flickering. Taillights, interior roof light have now started to do it.


Also the passenger headlight is now stuck up and will not go down. Tried adjusting it manually but it will not budge.

 

have you checked the ground cable from the battery to the body, and the link down to the engine? mine did something similar when the body ground was corroded

 

Flickering lights could also indicate a bad/last leg alternator.
