Hi guys,

I've ripped up the old firebird dash/body harness and installed a newer one, from a 2003 Holden Commodore.

I wiring everything in and having a ball re-wiring from power relays to grounding relays, but anyway, my main problem now is finding a wiring diagram or pinout for the harness that goes to the rear of the car.

There's a large black plug on the transmission hump with about 6-8 wires I need to know what they do.

From what I can tell, the
light blue wire is my brake lights,
pink wire i THINK is fuel gauge
Tan/White wire is fuel pump
and that's all I've got

There's a iridecent green wire, i think a black white wire and a few others, does anyone have a digram or pinout for this plug?

I need to know where the LH/RH indicator wires go, the reversing lights, tail lights and anything else back there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Hi Evil Stuie , If I've done this right I should have a picture here of your 1985 tail light wiring . Tell me , do you know of the site "Austin Third Gen" ? That site is where pretty much all the wiring diagrams for our cars are to be found and it's where I got this schematic for you . Good Luck with your rewiring and I hope there will be pictures of the new dash and such for us to see ?

Yeah I've heard austingthirdgen is great for that but everytime I try to access the site it gives me an error, every link seems to have the same "pid?19" or something like that on the end of the link and I get nothing.


Do you know if the front and rear indicators are linked by other wiring, or do I need to splice the front indicator wires to the rear harness?
