Rear seat fuel pump connecter question for 85 t/a
Hi guys I did some searching and been looking at wiring diagrams but I'm at a loss on a solution to my problem,
Okay so basically my car is a carb setup atm, I'm converting to efi doing the holley sniper, I have already dropped the fuel tank and installed a fuel pump and new sending unit, now I notice that although the car was a carb the connecter behind the rear seats has three wires to it, the tan=fuel Guage wire, black=ground, and the middle pink=power,
Now the pink wire has power when I put key in ignition but what I don't understand is why when I don't have ecm or fuel pump relay installed, I was thinking that I could follow the pink wire and connect it to the fuel pump relay power wire that is supplied with the sniper efi kit. But now I don't know what to do, I wasn't expecting there to even be a pink wire as the car was a 85 t/a with a carb,
I want to make this conversion as clean and as stock looking as possible
If anyone can guide me in the right direction that would be great
Thanks

Re: Rear seat fuel pump connecter question for 85 t/a
according to my '86 service manual the pink goes to the gage
the tan goes to the fuel pump (if there was one), and black to ground.

Your right the pink wire is the gauge wire, and the tan one is the fuel pump power wire, okay so is that tan wire the same one that goes into the engine bay area to the relay connector, If so that would mean I could just pull the pin out of the connector and connect it to the the fuel pump relay that was supplied on the sniper efi harness, and that would give me a nice clean stock looking setup,
