AC wiring help!!
ok gurus, before i hear it I'm going to admit now that i was a dummy.
about 7 years i ripped out the AC on my 1984 z28. as the years passed and i got older i realized that i wanted it back. only problem is, i i cut all of the wires to it and i have since sold the AC components. now, not only do i want AC again, but i am also going to convert to a serpentine belt as well. my question is, what and where are the wires for the compressor and the high pressure switch? i know i didn't cut the out completely, and i think i found the green and blue wires for the high pressure switch (the wires that connect to the drier) can anyone help??

Re: AC wiring help!!
I don't have the answers your looking for,... but I can help a little; The AC wiring on your 84 is not going to be the same as the wiring as a serpentine AC system.
Most of the AC wiring in your 84 is located inside 2 different harnesses. Obviously; the HVAC harness, and also the ENGINE harness. To find the AC compressor wires that were cut, start by finding your temp gauge sensor wire. The AC compressor wires and the Carb throttle kicker wire are located in the same wire loom as the temp gauge wire. The AC relay is also part of the ENGINE harness.
Here is a picture to help explain where your wiring is, this is an 84 ENGINE harness.
That should help get you started !
